Event Description

First and Third Wednesdays is a bimonthly entertainment industry-based networking mixer for non-actor professionals and staffed individuals.

Welcome to First and Third Wednesdays, a film and televi sion -based n etworking even t intended for individuals actively working or recently displaced from positions held on set, in-office, and off-camera (read: no actors, please).

Founded in May 2023, and currently hosted by Static Films in partnership with Citizen Skul l, ours is a bimonthly mixer held in Silver Lake at The Red Lion Tavern for professionals who want to foster community, forge relationships, and talk all about the industry (or really, anything but).

Please know that this gathering is intended as a safe space for allatendees, and that your reading of this description is considered an open invite to bring along your own favorite collaborators, new connections, and dear friends, so long as they are put forth in good faith, and done so with intention and care (read: no assholes, please).

So, come! Join us for your next "let's grab drinks" drink, as we do provide alcohol and food discounts for such matters. RSVP for the next event (or a later date) while here, and Eventbrite will add it to your calendar. Else, in a pinch, just know you're always free to drop in without a reservation, too.

While Silver Lakeis our home base, Westsiders and Valley-dwellers are obviously welcome, too. As such, if you're brave enough to venture out past the 405 or 170, we'd love to have you. Should you find yourself a part of the wider Burbank or Glendale set, just hop on down Zoo Dr., and you'll be imbibing with us in no time.

Sincerely,

Stephen and Rafi
