The Candle Bar Experience at Alta Vina π―οΈπ· FREE OAKLAND EVENT β’ RSVP ENCOURAGED
Looking for something fun to do in Oakland? Join Odd Commodity Shop at Alta Vina Wine Bar for a reclaimed glass candle experience that brings together local wine, sustainable design, creativity, and community.
And this one is extra special:
The bottles we're turning into candles originally came from Alta Vina.
So we're taking a bottle that already had a good life here and giving it another one. π·βπ―οΈ
π―οΈ HOW THE CANDLE BAR WORKS
Choose your reclaimed glass vessel β choose your fragrance β customize your candle β I'll pour it onsite β pick it up later.
β»οΈ RETURN YOUR VESSEL
Have an empty Odd Commodity candle vessel at home?
Bring it back clean and empty. I'll inspect it onsite, and if it's safe to reuse, you can receive a discounted refill or trade it toward a new reclaimed vessel.
Buy β Burn β Return β Refill β Repeat.
FREE TO ATTEND
There is no admission fee and you don't have to purchase a candle to attend.
Your RSVP helps me estimate how much glass, wax, fragrance, and supplies to prepare.
Candle selections and production capacity are limited and available while supplies last. Next-day pickup may be available for additional orders.
Come grab a glass of wine, make something fun, meet some people, and support two local small businesses.
