- Cultural Diplomacy

Museums, Cities, Landscapes and the Architecture of Connection

At a moment of increasing fragmentation, can culture help create common ground?

A lecture given by Kulapat Yantrasast, Founder and Creative Director of WHY Architecture (https://why-site.com/), to explore the power of museums, architecture, and culture to bring people together.

Drawing on WHY’s work at the Louvre and recent cultural projects around the world, Yantrasast will consider how the places we create can transcend borders, connect communities, and contribute to a shared civic life.

“Architecture is kind of a platform to shelter, to host other art forms, and collaborate together too. Strong space makes strong conversation with art. You’re generous, you allow painting and sculpture and furniture to come in. You allow them to communicate with people.” (Kulapat Yantrasast - NOWNESS)
