Event Description

CSCA film sound panel + meetup at Café Mustache: craft, careers, collaboration, Q&A, networking, and community.

Join the Chicago Sound for Cinema Alliance at Café Mustache in Logan Square on Wednesday, October 7th for a professional film sound panel and community meetup.

The evening will feature 3 amazing Chicago audio professionals, Katie Waters MPSE, Derek Katzer, and Alex Vaca in a moderated conversation about the craft, career paths, collaboration and the realities of working professionally in film sound in Chicago. We'll follow the discussion with an audience Q&A and then time to meet, network and connect with other people in Chicago’s film and audio community.

Filmmakers, sound professionals, students, content creators and creatives of all kinds are welcome.

Come out, learn something, meet some new people and enjoy all the CRT TVs.
