Event Description

Which legislation is AAUW Illinois championing this term? How does our state lobbyist support our advocacy efforts?

AAUW members and guests are invited to join Wheaton-Glen Ellyn and Naperville Area branches for an evening in-person with Jensen Ross of J & J Legislative on Wednesday, October 7, at 7 PM.

Learn about the lobbyist’s role and how a bill moves from concept to law. Our speaker will highlight current legislation AAUW Illinois supports. Bring your questions and get the facts you need to be an effective advocate and prepare for the upcoming election.

There is no charge for this event. AAUW Naperville Area members may request carpool rides (or volunteer to drive) when registering via Eventbrite.
